my feet are wet
because the snow
has melted inside my boots

there are glaciers
advancing and retreating
in my whiskers

the windows won't defrost
with the wet dog floor mats
so I leave the windows down
to dry them out

another dry air nose bleed
with the blood clots
and the alkaline drip
resorbing inside.
